Dillon RCMP charge two males after 484 grams of cocaine and firearms are seized

Dillon RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Buffalo River Dene Nation on December 4, with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team.
Officers located and seized approximately 484 grams of cocaine, a large sum of cash, a loaded handgun with the serial number removed and a rifle.
Two males were arrested at the residence.
As a result of continued investigation, Deng Deng and Kuol Kuol, who are both 21-years-old and from Calgary, are each charged with:
- one count, possession of a firearm with a tampered serial number, Section 108(1)(b), Criminal Code;
- one count, unsafe storage of a firearm, Section 86(2), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a prohibited firearm, Section 95(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a weapon obtained by crime, Section 96(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code
- one count, tampering with serial number of a firearm, Section 108(1)(a), Criminal Code;
- two counts, careless use of a firearm, Section 86(1), Criminal Code;
- two counts, possession of a firearm when knowing possession is unauthorized, Section 92(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Deng Deng is also charged with one count, weapons possession contrary to order, Section 117.01(1), Criminal Code.
Kuol Kuol is also charged with
- four counts, fail to comply with release order conditions, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code; and
- one count, obstruct peace officer, Section 129(a), Criminal Code.
They are scheduled to appear in court in La Loche on December 8, 2025.
