Wanted individual arrested in Pelican Narrows

On December 17, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Pelican Narrows RCMP observed a known wanted male walking near a residential area in Pelican Narrows, SK. The man was wanted on charges from Pelican Narrows RCMP and Prince Albert Police Service including assaults, weapons/firearms offenses, drug-related charges, threats, and breaches of conditions.

The man was confirmed to be at a residence on Bear Street in Pelican Narrows. RCMP officers were permitted to enter the house. The man threatened the officers, and they exited the residence for safety reasons. Officers secured the area and engaged Saskatchewan RCMP’s Critical Incident Response Team to assist.

Around 8 p.m., efforts by the RCMP Emergency Response Team resulted in the adult male exiting the residence where he was arrested without incident.

As a result of continued investigation, 23-year-old Michael Morin from Prince Albert, SK, was arrested on outstanding warrants from Pelican Narrows RCMP Detachment. He was additionally charged with:

  • one count, uttering threats against a person, Section 264.1(1)(a), Criminal Code; and
  • one count, resists/obstructs peace officer, Section 129(a), Criminal Code.  

Michael Morin appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on December 19, 2025.
