Melfort RCMP are asking the public to help identify theft suspects.

On the morning of January 26, 2026, Melfort RCMP received a report that suspects broke into a garage on a property in Invergordon and stole tools and other items. Investigation determined they were driving a truck reported as stolen in Humboldt the previous day.

Melfort RCMP asked the public for assistance locating the suspect and vehicle through a Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory.

Melfort RCMP received reports the suspects stole fuel from a business in Archerwill, SK and fled on Highway 6 at a high rate of speed.

As a result of continued investigation, RCMP officers located the vehicle entering a rural property near Meskanaw, SK.

Three male suspects exited the vehicle. Officers contained the property, but the suspects stole a second vehicle and fled. Saskatchewan RCMP’s Police Dog Services and Critical Incident Response Team were deployed to assist. The suspects and second vehicle have not been located. The initial stolen truck has been recovered by police.

One of the suspects was dressed in all-black clothing. A second suspect was wearing a blue winter jacket, black ski pants and an orange balaclava. Photos of the suspects are attached. There is no information on the third suspect, and the identity of the suspects are unknown. The second stolen vehicle is described as a 2012 white Dodge Ram truck with Saskatchewan license plate 319 KDQ.

Melfort RCMP continue to investigate and are now asking the public for their assistance.

If you recognize the suspects, or have information about these incidents, contact your local police by calling 310-RCMP (7267). Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
