ARRESTED: Loon Lake RCMP asking the public to report sightings of Cherokee Cantre

Pierceland RCMP arrested Cherokee Cantre on February 8, 2026. He is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on February 9, 2026.

Loon Lake RCMP are asking the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of 32-year-old Cherokee Cantre. He also goes by the name ‘Boston George’.

Cherokee Cantre is wanted on warrant by Loon Lake RCMP for charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, and operation while prohibited. These charges were laid in relation to a January 2026 investigation.

Cherokee Cantre is described as: 

  • Height: 5 ft 11 in 
  • Weight: 200 lbs
  • Eye colour: brown
  • Hair colour and style: black

Cherokee Cantre is known to travel to the following areas:

  • Loon Lake
  • Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation

Loon Lake RCMP continue to investigate.
