Outlook RCMP respond to water-related death on Lake Diefenbaker

On June 6, 2026 at approximately 4:45 p.m., Outlook RCMP received a report of a water-related death on Lake Diefenbaker.
Officers attended, along with local EMS. On June 7, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team removed a male from the water. The male was declared deceased at the scene. He has been identified as a 30-year-old from Saskatoon. His family has been notified.
The Saskatchewan Coroners Service has taken carriage of the investigation.
This is considered a sudden death investigation. As there is no element of criminality, we will not be releasing any further details.
