On September 21, 2025, Whitehorse RCMP received a report that an assault and sexualized assault had occurred in Whitehorse on the Millennium Trail on September 11, 2025, between 9 pm and 11:30 pm.
Police have learned that on September 11, sometime between the hours of 9 pm and 11:30 pm, the victim left Riverdale and headed on foot toward downtown Whitehorse. She was walking on the Millennium Trail near the Skateboard Park, and a male physically attacked her.
The male is not known to her and is described as dark skinned, with dark hair and is heavy set. This male may have injuries to his face that may now be in the process of healing or scabbing over. If anyone has any information that may help identify this male, please contact Whitehorse RCMP at 867-667-5555.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have been walking on the Millennium Trail on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in the evening hours or who may have been around the Skateboard Park.
