Mayo RCMP, with the support of multiple Yukon RCMP units, continue to actively investigate the disappearance of Nasha Wong, who was reported missing on May 15, 2026. Police are very concerned for her wellbeing.

Search efforts continued throughout the weekend and into Monday afternoon. Yukon RCMP received significant assistance from Hecla Mining, a local mining company, whose personnel joined Yukon Search and Rescue volunteers in ground search efforts over the weekend. The company continues to support ongoing search activities, including examinations of its properties, buildings and vehicles.

Search efforts to date have included the use of a police dog service team, helicopter support, ground search teams, as well as assistance from the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre.

The investigation remains ongoing. Police are asking anyone who may have dashcam footage from May 14, 2026, between 5:00 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., in the areas of Silver Trail, Mayo, and surrounding areas, to contact Yukon RCMP at 867-667-5555. Those who come forward will be put in contact with an investigator.
