Brooks RCMP investigate found human remains

On Aug. 20, 2025, at approximately 6:05 p.m., a Brooks resident reported that he found a deceased person in the alley near Southshore Drive. RCMP attended and initiated an investigation.

The deceased is scheduled for an autopsy today.

An update is anticipated in the near future.
