Grande Prairie RCMP issuing warning about counterfeit bills

Grande Prairie, Alta. - Grande Prairie RCMP is issuing a warning about counterfeit bills which are circulating in the city. So far, 4 counterfeit bills have been located; two at the RBC, one at Servus Credit Union and one at A & W. The first was discovered on Dec. 15, 2025.

The bills contain the following serial numbers:

• GKV9181892
• HM00327024

Grande Prairie RCMP is asking if anyone has any information regarding these counterfeits, to please call Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701, or your local police.
