Parkland RCMP Executes Search Warrant in Fraud and Identity Theft Investigation

Spruce Grove, Alta. –  On Dec. 17, 2025, Parkland RCMP General Investigation Section conducted a search warrant at a property in Spruce Grove. This search warrant was a result of a comprehensive investigation into multiple frauds and identity thefts. Two individuals have been arrested and remanded into custody.

A 37-year-old, resident of Spruce Grove; and a 41-year-old, a resident of Spruce Grove, have been charged with the following:

  • Breach of Release Order;
  • Fraud Over $5,000;
  • Possess Identity of multiple victims with intent of committing an offence;
  • Personate multiple victims with intent to gain advantage for him/herself;
  • Traffic in multiple credit cards in the name of multiple victims that he knew had been obtained by the commission of an offence;
  • Make a false document;
  • Possess a false document;
  • Have in possession capable of making the impression of a stamp or part thereof (Bank Stamp);
  • Fail to comply with release order.

Both will have their next court appearance on Dec. 22, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Evansburg.
