Fort Saskatchewan RCMP execute search warrant on drug house

Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. – On Dec. 18, 2025, after a short investigation into a known drug trafficker, the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP Crime Reduction Unit with assistance from the Fort Saskatchewan General Investigation Section executed a drug Search Warrant at a residence in the Pine View area of Fort Saskatchewan.

During the search, police seized:

  • More than liter of GHB;
  • 27 grams of cocaine;
  • 1.2 pounds of crystal methamphetamine;
  • 500 ml of liquid methamphetamine; and,
  • 100 rounds of ammunition.

Police also discovered evidence of methamphetamine manufacturing inside the home.

A 46-year-old, resident of Fort Saskatchewan, has been charged with:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking;
  • Possession of GHB for the Purpose of trafficking;
  • Possession of cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking;
  • Production of Methamphetamine;
  • Fail to comply with firearms / ammunition Prohibition;
  • Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public.

They were brought before a Justice of the Peace and the matter was adjourned to Monday Dec. 22, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Edmonton.
