Wood Buffalo RCMP Crime Reduction Unit execute multiple warrants

Fort McMurray, Alta – Wood Buffalo RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU), a specialized team of police officers that proactively target prolific offenders and property crime, follows local current crime trends to assist in their day-to-day duties, focusing on persons and crimes that cause the most harm in the community.  In the first 3 weeks of December, members of CRU executed multiple warrants and made several arrests. Their concentrated efforts led to the arrest of 10 persons wanted on outstanding warrants and held for court hearings.
