Police officer shoveling snow

Spruce Grove, Alta. –  On Dec. 31, 2025 Parkland RCMP received a report of a 96-year-old male who was snowed in at his residence. Heavy snowfall had blocked the man’s driveway, leaving him unable to leave his home to attend important appointments. Due to the calls for service being lower at the time, a police officer was able to attend the residence and clear the snow, ensuring the gentleman could safely leave the residence.

The resident expressed his gratitude for the assistance. The Parkland RCMP is proud to support their community members beyond traditional policing duties, especially during challenging winter conditions.
