Alberta Community Response Team make major arrest in stolen property investigation

Parkland County, Alta. –  On Jan. 7, 2026, the Alberta RCMP Community Response Team with the assistance of RCMP Air Services, Parkland RCMP and Parkland RCMP Crime Reduction Unit; a stolen property investigation was concluded.

The Alberta Community Response Team executed a search warrant at a residence near Range Road 30 in Parkland County. Police arrested 1 induvudial on multiple charges, and a second on separate outstanding warrants.

As a result of the warrant, police located and seized stolen items, drugs and weapons including:

  • 9 non-restricted firearms,
  • 1 loaded non-restricted firearm,
  • 2 travel trailers,
  • 3 flat-deck trailers,
  • 1 Nissan Maxima,
  • 1 Yamaha motorbike,
  • And 10 grams of methamphetamine.

A 44-year-old, resident of Parkland County, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a firearm x 10,
  • Possession of a loaded firearm,
  • Careless storage of a firearm,
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 x 5,
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 x 2,
  • Tampering with a Vehicle Identification number x 2.

The 44-year-old was remanded with their next court appearance on Jan. 1, 2026, at the Alberta Court of Justice in St. Albert.
