Parkland County, Alta – The Alberta RCMP’s Community Response Team with the assistance of the Real Time Operations Centre, Parkland RCMP and Parkland RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, conclude a stolen property investigation.
On Jan. 8, 2026, the Alberta Community Response Team became aware of a stolen Chevrolet truck being followed by a civilian in the area of Parkland County. Police located the stolen Chevrolet truck and successfully deployed a Tire Deflation Device. The Chevrolet truck came to a stop on a rural property in the area of Alberta Beach. The accused was quickly taken into custody before further offences could be committed on the civilian property. Police arrested a 47-year-old resident of Parkland County.
The individual is charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000;
- Operate a Motor Vehicle while Unauthorized;
- Failure to comply with a Release Order (x4);
- Resist Arrest.
They were held for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody. The individual is to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in St Albert on Jan. 28, 2026 at 9:30 AM.
