Grande Prairie, Alta. – In February of 2026, Grande Prairie RCMP Municipal Drug Unit initiated an illicit drug trafficking investigation. Three suspects were identified and the evidence gathered led to two search warrants being obtained and executed on Feb. 26, 2026, at two separate residences in Grande Prairie, with assistance from Grande Prairie Police Service, Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams, and Alberta RCMP Police Dog Services.

As a result of the search, the following items were seized:

  • 144 grams of cocaine;
  • 178 grams of methamphetamine;
