Burnaby RCMP - Community Services & Programs

The goal of the Burnaby Crime Prevention Section is to promote "Partners For a Safe Community" for everyone in the City of Burnaby. This is accomplished by providing support to our internal and external partners through the variety of programs offered at the Detachment and through City of Burnaby and other community resources.

Services and information

Anti-Graffiti Program

Graffiti is the defacement of property without permission and is a criminal offence.

Auxiliary Program

The Burnaby RCMP is pleased to be accepting applications to its Auxiliary Program.

Block Watch

Block Watch is a free program run by the City of Burnaby’s Crime Prevention Team to help prevent crime and nuisance activities in our community.

Victim Services

Burnaby RCMP’s Victim Services Unit provides support, practical assistance, information and resources to anyone who has been impacted by crime or trauma.

Crime Free Multi-Housing

The Crime Free Multi-Housing Program (CFMH) is a solution oriented crime prevention initiative.

Youth Services

Since 1974, Youth Services has been providing prevention and early intervention services aimed at reducing criminal behaviour among youth in Burnaby.

Restorative Justice

Restorative Justice provides a constructive and meaningful response to crime and conflict involving youth by creating opportunities for accountability, understanding and healing outside of the criminal justice system.
