File # 2025-5620

On October 28, 2025, Possession of Child Pornography Charges were approved against 39 yr old, Jeffrey Falk.

The investigation, led by the Campbell River RCMP Major Crime Unit, began in May 2025, following information received from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children.

During an extensive investigation, a search warrant was executed on a Campbell River residence on June 25th, 2025.  The search resulted in the seizure of a substantial collection of Child Pornography, which included images and videos.  Mr. Falk is due to appear in court in November 2025, to answer to the allegations.

“The presence of Child Pornography on the internet is prevalent and deeply concerning,” explained Cst Maury Tyre. “Investigations into Child Pornography on the internet are extremely labour intensive and time consuming and it is a success that we were able to build the case that was necessary to bring this matter before the courts.”

Police are encouraging parents to speak to their children about internet safety and the potential dangers online.
