On July 9, 2026, following a 3 month investigation, members of the Campbell River RCMP Street Crime unit with the assistance of General duty, Major Crime and Police dog services executed a search warrant in the 500 block of South Alder Street.
As a result of the warrant and search, over 225 grams of suspected cocaine, 10 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 4.5 kg of marihuana and over $77,000 in cash was located and seized.
A 62-year-old Campbell River man and a 58-year-old Campbell River woman were arrested and released with a first court appearance of October 5, 2026.
“This is another excellent example of how our investigators are working to remove illicit drugs from the street and hold traffickers accountable,” said RCMP spokesperson, Cst. Maury Tyre.
