Civilian employee careers in BC

The RCMP hires civilian employees for a variety of positions that support policing at the detachment, division and national levels. Positions range from administrative support, to analysts, information management, forensics, human resources, medical professionals, technicians, 9-1-1 police dispatchers and pilots are just some examples.

Civilian jobs are posted on the job.gc.ca website. To find jobs specific to British Columbia:

  • Enter "British Columbia" into the work locations field and then click "Show", followed by "add".
  • In the GC organizations field choose "Royal Canadian Mounted Police" from the drop down menu, then click "add"       
    Click on "Search jobs".
  • Go to the tab for "Jobs open to the public" to see all active job posting. Save your search for quick future access.
