Castlegar RCMP is updating  the public that the man who was swept down the Columbia River on June 21, 2026, has been located deceased.

The deceased man's identity has been confirmed, and his next of kin have been notified.

Castlegar RCMP extends its condolences to the man's family and friends during this difficult time.
