Chilliwack RCMP seek public’s assistance in identifying person of interest in robbery investigation

The Chilliwack RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in an ongoing robbery investigation.

On July 20, 2026, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Chilliwack RCMP received a report that a youth was confronted by a man believed to be in possession of a firearm in the 46000 block of Yale Road. The suspect allegedly pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the youth and demanded property before fleeing the area on a bike.

Investigators are seeking to identify a man who may have information relevant to this investigation.

The individual is described as:

• Caucasian male;
• Approximately 5'11";
• Believed to be in his 20s;
• Wearing black jeans;
• Wearing a black hoodie with a green logo and green lining inside the hood;
• Wearing glasses;
• Wearing a black bandana with white patterns;
• Raspy-sounding voice.

At the time of the incident, the man was riding a white BMX-style bicycle with purple rims.
