The Coquitlam RCMP is proud to kick off the 18th Annual 911 We Care Toy Drive.
From November 17 to December 10, 2025, Coquitlam RCMP will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children and youth, from toddlers to teens. All donations will be distributed through SHARE Family & Community Services, helping bring holiday cheer to local families in need.
The 911 We Care Toy Drive was launched in 2009 by the Coquitlam RCMP Operational Communications Centre (OCC) staff. The OCC team is made up of dedicated employees who answer emergency calls and support police officers in the field. The OCC team started the initiative as a way to make a positive impact in the community. What began as a small effort has since grown into a cherished tradition of giving back and spreading holiday cheer.
“For the past 18 years, the 911 We Care Toy Drive has allowed the Coquitlam RCMP OCC to give back to the community and help make the holidays a little brighter,” said Jen Criss, Communications Operator with Coquitlam RCMP. “This is a special time of year for our team and we always look forward to running this annual event.”
“Every toy donated represents hope and joy for a child in our community,” added Acting Sergeant George Han, Media Relations Officer. “We hope the public can add one more gift to their list this year and help support the 911 We Care Toy Drive.”
