Coquitlam RCMP is seeking witnesses after structure fire in Coquitlam

Coquitlam RCMP is requesting witnesses and video footage following a structure fire in Coquitlam.

At approximately 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, Coquitlam RCMP responded to a fire at an abandoned apartment building located at 727 North Road, Coquitlam. The building was scheduled for demolition. Coquitlam Fire and Rescue extinguished the blaze.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Coquitlam RCMP General Investigation Section.

“We are asking anyone who may have witnessed the fire or has video footage to contact Coquitlam RCMP,” said Acting Sergeant George Han, Coquitlam RCMP Media Relations Officer.

Anyone with information or relevant video footage, including CCTV, dash cam, or cellphone recordings is asked to call Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2025-31475.
