Coquitlam RCMP introducing ‘Pop with a Cop’ this summer

Coquitlam RCMP is inviting residents of all ages to cool down with a pop and connect with local officers, staff and volunteers at its first-ever Pop with a Cop event.

Designed as a summertime community engagement event and held for the first time on July 22 and August 12, ‘Pop with a Cop’ will offer residents of all ages an opportunity to meet Coquitlam RCMP frontline officers, staff and volunteers in a casual and relaxed environment. Everyone is encouraged to stop by, enjoy a cold drink, ask questions, learn more about local policing, and get to know the people dedicated to keeping our communities safe.

"Building relationships starts with simple conversations," said Sergeant Adriana O'Malley, Media Relations Officer for Coquitlam RCMP. "Pop with a Cop creates an opportunity for people of all ages to connect with local officers in a casual outdoor setting, ask questions, share concerns, and learn more about the work we do.”

Pop with a Cop is a drop‑in, family‑friendly event, and everyone is welcome. Free pop and drinks will be provided.
