On Monday, October 13, 2025, Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a report of a burnt out vehicle where human remains were located inside the car.

Jesse Twain, 29 years old from Edmonton Alberta, has been identified as the victim found in the burnt vehicle on October 13, 2025.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are looking to the public to help further the investigation. If you have any information on Jesse Twain and the events leading up to and including his death, you are asked to call the dedicated information line 1-877-987-8477.
