On November 21, 2025, the Fort St John RCMP completed a drug trafficking investigation with the search of a residence at the Peace Country Mobile Home Park in Fort St John, BC. The residence is well known to police and has generated multiple calls for service over the past year.

The Fort St John RCMP Street Enforcement Team (SET), assisted by the Serious Crimes Unit (SCU) and frontline officers, conducted enforcement on the residence resulting in 8 individuals being arrested.

Officers located and seized a loaded pistol, drugs, currency and thousands of dollars worth of stolen tools. The tools are believed to have been stolen from the Fort St John area and officers are attempting to identify the owners.

One of females who was arrested was held in custody due to breaching her court conditions, the other individuals were subsequently released from custody pending the completion of the investigation and determination of appropriate charges.

Fort St John RCMP Plain Clothes Unit Commander Sergeant Ian Rissanen commented, “The Street Enforcement Team continues its tireless efforts to combat the illicit drug trade and the related crimes that often accompany it, such as property theft. SET remains committed to addressing nuisance properties linked to illegal activity in the Fort St John area.”
