Fort St John RCMP are investigating a shots fired report

On July 22, 2026 at just before 9:00pm, the Fort St John RCMP received a report of multiple shots fired in the area of 112th Avenue and 108th Street, Fort St John, BC., which is a residential neighbourhood.  

The file is in its infancy but the Fort St John RCMP can confirm that multiple shots were fired in the area.

Currently, the Fort St John RCMP believes that this was a targeted incident.

"Multiple Fort St John RCMP units are on scene canvassing the neighbourhood," said Constable Chad Neustaeter, Media Relations Officer for the Fort St John RCMP.  "We are asking that if anyone has any doorbell cam or dashcam video of the area at the time or believe they saw anything suspicious that they contact the Fort St John RCMP.

 The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone who has information in this matter to contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
