Male arrested in relation to string of break-ins and thefts in Fort St John

30-year-old Trevor Olson-Loe has been charged with 8 offences in relation to a recent spike in commercial break-ins and thefts in the Fort St John area.

The Fort St John RCMP Detachment saw a significant increase in commercial break-ins and thefts in the preceding two months. Amongst the recent surge in property crime-related incidents, frontline RCMP members investigated 4 separate incidents between July 22^nd and August 17^th, identifying the suspect as Trevor Olson-Loe.

On August 17^th, Trevor Olson-Loe was arrested and brought before the courts with multiple recommended charges in relation to the above incidents. He has since been remanded into custody with the following charges:

• Robbery x2
• Fraud
• Theft Under $5000
• Possessing a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
• Breaking and Entering to Commit an Indictable Offence
• Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000
• Failure to Comply with a Probation Order

Trevor Olson-Loe remains in custody until his next court appearance on August 31^st.
