Police Information Check (known as Criminal Record Checks):

• Obtain a criminal record check (Police Information Check) 
• Types of certified criminal record checks
• $50 Municipal fee (no charge for volunteers with supporting documentation)
• Can take up to 14 business days to process. 
• Information and fees are subject to change without notice.

Fingerprints:

• $60 Municipal fee
• $25 Federal fee
• no charge for volunteers with supporting documentation

Payment methods

Fees are payable only by cash, debit card and credit card (Visa, MasterCard only). We do not accept American Express. 

Proof of identification:

• Two pieces of valid Government issued identification is required, including photo ID. 
• Must be a resident of the City of Kamloops with current address on ID.
• BC Driver’s licence combined with the BC Services Card is considered one piece of ID. 
• Expired ID is not accepted.
