Do you know you know this sexual assault suspect?

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted an employee last week. 

On June 26, 2026, the suspect entered a retail liquor store located in the 2100-block of the Trans Canada Highway East, and after cashing out, allegedly reached around the counter and grabbed an employee’s buttocks. He then fled on foot. 

"At this point we have been unable to determine whether he got into a vehicle, or departed the parking lot on foot," states S/Sgt. Janelle Shoihet of the Kamloops RCMP. We are releasing a photo in an effort to identify the man and further our investigation. 

The suspect is described as bald, with medium skin, approximately 40-50 years of age, wearing a yellow t-shirt, blue jacket and grey pants.
