The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is asking the public to please avoid the area during an unfolding police operation.
On Thursday July 16, 2026, at around 10:00 a.m., Kamloops RCMP Detachment investigators along with the Southeast District Emergency Response Team were visible in the 1200-block of 12th street executing a searching warrant in relation to an ongoing investigation.
“We are asking the public to please avoid the area to allow officers space to work while they execute the warrant,” states Corporal Dana Napier, spokesperson for the Kamloops RCMP Detachment.
