The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is seeking public assistance to locate Melanie Strinholm.

“On September 14, 2026, Melanie was reporting missing by a family member who had not been able to reach her for almost a month. This is out of character for Melanie which caused them concern for her well-being, ” states S/Sgt. Janelle Shoihet of the Kamloops RCMP Detachment. 

Melanie is described as;

• 49-year-old
• Caucasian woman
• Long brown hair
• 5’08 ft, 165 lbs

She is associated to a grey, 2003 Subaru Impreza, bearing BC licence plate A723VH and is believed to parking the vehicle along the river on both the north and south shores of Kamloops.
