Maple Ridge RCMP is pleased to welcome Inspector Eusebius (Sub) Wong to the role of Operations Officer at the Maple Ridge Detachment.
Inspector Wong comes to Maple Ridge with 30 years of experience within the RCMP, all based in the Lower Mainland and spanning federal, provincial and municipal business lines.
Insp. Wong started his career at Burnaby Detachment in Frontline and Community Policing, before moving into roles in Federal surveillance, National Security, and with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT). He spent the last 12 years at Surrey Detachment working in a variety of roles including surveillance, Major Crime, Youth, Bike Section, and as a Watch Duty Officer. In the past few months, he worked with the RCMP’s Security Coordination & Operational Response team during the world’s biggest international soccer tournament.
“I’m excited to start a new career chapter here in Maple Ridge,” says Inspector Wong. “I look forward to building on my experience and strengthening local public safety initiatives, working closely with my new team and residents of this growing city.”
The addition of Inspector Wong brings the Maple Ridge RCMP’s Senior Leadership Team to full capacity. This leadership structure ensures that the detachment is strategically positioned to sustain an efficient and progressive policing model, in close collaboration with our community and civic partners.
