Police seeking dash camera video in association to December 16, 2025, murder in Merritt

On December 16, 2025, the Merritt RCMP and BC Emergency Health Services responded to a residence in Merritt for the report of a disturbance in which Pamela Jarvis, 45 was found unresponsive, suffering from significant injuries. Pamela Jarvis was transported to the Nicola Valley Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Christopher Bernard Jarvis, 49, of Merritt BC has now been charged with the 2nd degree murder of his wife, Pamela Jarvis, and is currently held in custody.
Investigators are appealing to the public that if they have video, dash camera or other, from the Princeton-Kamloops Highway (5a) between Merritt and Highway 5, Nicola Avenue and/or Voght Street in Merritt on December 16, 2025, between the times of 12:00 p.m. (noon) and 2:00 p.m. to contact the Southeast District Major Crime Unit Tip Line at 1-877-987-8477.
