Canada-wide warrant issued for violent offender

Clint Billy

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for 39-year-old Clint Billy after he failed to comply with his release conditions.

Billy was released on parole after serving a portion of a two-year federal sentence for weapons and robbery-related offences. On March 24, 2026, he was released from custody and instructed to reside at a residence in Victoria. He failed to show. As a result, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Although Billy does not have confirmed connections to Nanaimo, police have received information indicating he may be in the area. 

Billy is described as follows:

  • Indigenous man
  • 39 years old
  • 6 feet tall
  • 175 pounds
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Sleeve tattoo on left arm depicting Japanese demons
