Witnesses sought to serious injury investigation

The Nanaimo RCMP are investigating an incident where a 31-year Nanaimo man was located with significant injuries, at approximately 10:20 PM on Thursday June 4, 2026, in the parking lot of a business located 190 Nicol St.

Police and BCEHS attended. The injured man was unable to explain what happened.

Officers searched the surrounding area and there was evidence that the victim had been in the 200 block of Victoria Road. However, the circumstances of how he received his injuries remain unknown. The injured man was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. 

Police are asking anyone who was in the surrounding area between 9:30 PM and 10:30 PM on Thursday June 4, 2026, and have surveillance or dash cam video or have information on the incident, to please call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
