Construction of new Pitt Meadows RCMP Detachment now complete

The City of Pitt Meadows has proudly announced the completion of the building which will be home to the new Pitt Meadows RCMP Detachment.

This milestone is an important step towards accomplishing the City’s goal of attaining their own, autonomous detachment, focused on providing policing services to the community and residents of Pitt Meadows. 

The project to transition from a shared RCMP detachment policing model with the City of Maple Ridge received approval from the Government of British Columbia in 2021. The new Pitt Meadows RCMP Detachment is anticipated to be operational in early Spring 2026.
