BC RCMP Major Crime Unit investigating suspicious disappearance of man from Trail B.C.

The BC RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit has now assumed conduct of the investigation into the disappearance of Mark Konrad from Trail, B.C.
Police investigators are urgently asking for the public’s help in determining the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Konrad, whose last confirmed interaction was with RCMP officers in late June 2025.
Description of Mark Konrad:
- Caucasian male
- 51 years old
- 5’9” (175 cm)
- 220 lbs (100 kg)
- Brown Hair (balding)
- Brown eyes
Since that time, there have been no confirmed sightings. Konrad’s unexplained disappearance in the absence of any benign explanation is cause for concern.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen Konrad or has any information about him, his disappearance or whereabouts to call the Southeast District Major Crime Unit Information line at 1-877-987-8477.
