North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP respond to serious two-vehicle collision

On August 29, 2026 at approximately 8:30 a.m. North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Beverly St. and Trans Canada Hwy.  

A sedan travelling northbound along Trans Canada Hwy was struck by another sedan travelling southbound at the intersection of Beverly St. and Trans Canada hwy. Two occupants were extracted by North Cowichan Fire and airlifted to hospital while other occupants were transported to the local hospital. There was a total of 5 persons involved and no fatalities.

The collision continues to be investigated by police who are looking for any witnesses, dashcam video or surveillance that observed the collision on Saturday morning to contact the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at 250-746-5522.
