Powell River RCMP execute search warrant on Glacier Street

On May 13, 2026, Powell River RCMP general investigation section executed a search warrant on a residence at the 7000 block of Glacier St. as part of a drug trafficking investigation. 

A 41-year old male resident was arrested for possession of controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and taken into custody.

The search warrant was executed and investigators subsequently seized large amounts of substances suspected to be fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine and hydromorphone. A large amount of Canadian currency was also seized.

The suspect was released to appear in court. 

The investigation is ongoing.
