Robbers Targeting Vape & Cannabis Stores

The Prince George RCMP are investigating a string of robberies that have occurred at vape & cannabis stores over the last two weeks.  The same suspects are believed to be responsible for all four violent offences.

• The first incident occurred during the evening of Sunday September 6, 2026, when police received a report from a business on Massey Drive where staff advised that they had been robbed with bear spray; 
• The second incident occurred on the evening of Monday September 7^th, 2026, when police received a report from a staff member of a business on Westwood Drive. This time a suspect threatened a staff member with a knife;
• On Sunday September 13, 2026, police received another report of a robbery, at the same location as the second incident on Westwood Drive.  In this instance, one suspect sprayed a staff member with bear spray;
• The latest incident occurred on the evening of Saturday September 19^th, 2026, when police received a call from staff at a business on Strathcona Avenue in Prince George. A suspect had sprayed the staff member with bear spray during the robbery. 

In each of these incidents multiple suspects wearing masks entered the business, brandished a weapon, then stole vape devices, cannabis products, and in some cases, cell phones and cash. This is believed to be the same group of approximately four people. Some persons were treated for bear spray, but no other injuries were reported.
