Assault victim in hospital, suspects remain at large

Prince George RCMP continues to investigate an assault that happened Sunday, October 4, 2026, leaving one person in the hospital. 

The incident occurred just before 1:00 p.m. on the 200-block of George Street. Witnesses report that a fight between several people broke out and one man was assaulted with a weapon, as well as being physically assaulted by those in the fight. The victim was transported to the hospital by B.C. Emergency Health Services for treatment of his injuries. 

“Investigators were able to locate one of the suspects, a 22-year-old woman, a short distance away; however, several suspects remain outstanding. We are asking the public for any information that may assist us in identifying and locating the suspects in this incident,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, BCRCMP spokesperson for Northern B.C.
