The Prince George RCMP’s General Duty Section (GD) are the front line first responders responsible for the day to day calls for service. This uniformed unit responds to calls throughout the City of Prince George, as well as the surrounding rural areas including south to Hixon, north to Bear Lake, west to Cluculz Lake and east on Highway 16 to near Dome Creek. These calls for service can range from minor complaints such as a disturbance, through to a shoplifter, to more serious events such as a sex assault, robberies or homicides.
