Man Found Deceased Beneath Oak Street Bridge

On April 8, 2026, at approximately 1514 hours, Richmond RCMP was notified of the discovery of a deceased male located underneath the Oak Street Bridge near Van Horne Way. Officers attended and secured the scene. The circumstances surrounding the death are under active investigation by Richmond RCMP Serious Crime Unit.

This remains an active investigation.  There are no indications of any risk to public safety at this time. No additional information is available at this stage.
