Terrace RCMP seeks public’s help to identify suspect in mischief investigations

Terrace RCMP are currently investigating two incidents of mischief which occurred between 3:00 and 4:00 am on September 16, 2026. In each incident, the same male suspect caused damage to the rear windows of vehicles gaining access to both vehicles.  One incident occurred in the alley behind the Best Western Hotel on Greig Avenue while the other occurred in the alley on the 4600 block of Lazelle Avenue.  The suspect is described as Caucasian, wearing a light blue shirt on top of a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and grey shoes, carrying a backpack.  RCMP are asking if anyone has any information about these two events or can identify the suspect to contact the Terrace Detachment at 250-638-7400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
