Fatal collision in Enderby

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP is investigating a collision that claimed two lives in Enderby yesterday morning.   

On Monday, September 21^st, 2026, around 2:15 a.m., the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP responded to a report of a single vehicle collision in the 1100 block of George St in Enderby.  The investigation has determined the blue Volvo was travelling northbound on George Street when it left the road, colliding with a hydro pole and 4 parked vehicles in 3 different addresses.  The 31-year old male driver and 20-year old male passenger, both Vernon residents, were pronounced deceased at the scene.  The third occupant was transported from the scene to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  A member of the RCMP Integrated Collision Analyst attended to assist with the investigation.  The portion of roadway was closed for several hours to allow investigators to complete their work. Speed is believed to be a factor and police are continuing to investigate.
