On Thursday, October 22nd, 2026, frontline officers from the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the 3200-block of 25th Avenue.

The warrant was executed in support of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking activities in the area. Cash, ammunition, imitation firearms, and a quantity of suspected cocaine was seized from the home.

“This seizure is the result of some great proactive work by our frontline officers,” states Constable Chris Terleski, Media Relations Officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP. “It directly supports our strategic priority of targeting and disrupting criminal activity in our communities.”

Three people were arrested at the time the warrant was executed.  All were released pending further investigation, which once complete, will be submitted for a comprehensive charge review.
