Drugs, cash and replica firearm seized by police during drug trafficking investigation

On July 17, 2025, West Shore RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Unit along side, Crime Reduction Unit and the Vancouver Island RCMP Emergency Response Team, executed search warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act on two residential properties located in Colwood and Langford.
One man was arrested in relation to drug trafficking and remains in custody. Officers searched both properties and seized the following evidence in relation to drug trafficking:
- Approximately 90 pills and 6 grams of powder suspected Fentanyl;
- Approximately 38 grams of suspected powdered cocaine;
- Approximately 3.4 kilograms of suspected dried cannabis and 198 grams of Cannabis concentrates;
- Replica AR15 Style Rifle;
- Just under $2000 cash.
