Police investigate counterfeit currency fraud, can you identify these suspects?

West Shore RCMP is currently investigating counterfeit currency fraud involving 3 suspects. The suspects are alleged to have used US counterfeit currency to purchase merchandise from a local West Shore retailer on multiple occasions in December 2025 and January 2026, resulting in thousands of dollars worth of fraud.

Suspect 1 is described as:

  • Male with light skin color;
  • Approximately 35- 45 years old;
  • Dark colored facial hair (chin strap style beard);
  • Wearing dark colored pants and dark colored reflective work jacket.

Suspect 2 is described as:

  • Male with light skin color;
  • Approximately 35- 45 years old;
  • Dark colored facial hair (short boxed style beard);
  • Wearing a grey, orange and black toque, tan colored zip up fleece sweater, green pants and black flip flops.

Suspect 3 is described as:

  • Male with light skin color;
  • Approximately 25- 35 years old;
  • Dark colored facial hair (chin strap style beard);
  • Wearing a black toque, blue windbreaker jacket with yellow pipping, light colored shirt, grey joggers with black stripe down the side, black runners with white sole.

The suspects are associated to a black 2021-2026 Chrysler Grand Caravan, bearing partial BC license plate of T1L***.
